JILANTA PRIVACY POLICY · EFFECTIVE 1 NOVEMBER 2026
How Jilanta uses your information
This policy covers Jilanta Source, jilanta.com, and related sourcing, procurement, shipping, support and administration services. It applies to visitors and account holders. Jilanta is a brand of Terrabridge LLC. Terrabridge LLC is the customer contracting entity and data controller for Jilanta. Its headquarters are 1001 South Main, STE 700, Kalispell, MT 59901, USA. For privacy requests, contact chris@jilanta.com.
Information we handle
- Account details, sign-in records, workspace membership, business market and preferences.
- Search terms, photos you choose to submit, product selections, saved work, baskets and questions.
- Quotes, orders, payment and refund references, amounts, receiving and quality-check records.
- Delivery, warehouse and forwarder contacts needed for an order or handover.
- Support messages, device push destinations, security events and service diagnostics.
These details may come from you, authorized workspace members, Jilanta staff, payment providers, suppliers or forwarders. Search text and photos can contain personal information even when you intended to describe only a product. Please avoid unnecessary personal or confidential details.
Why we use it
We use information to operate accounts, search and compare products, prepare quotes, verify payments, coordinate procurement and shipping, provide support, prevent abuse, keep financial and audit records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Account and order information is needed to provide those services. Photo search, Ask Jilanta and optional display translation have a separate choice for each send to an external service.
Who receives it
Authorized Jilanta staff and workspace members see the records their roles permit. Hosting, authentication, storage, email and push-delivery providers handle information needed to run the service. Product-search and AI providers may receive a photo, question, search description or selected product text for a feature you choose. Payment providers, including Flutterwave where offered, receive transaction and payer information needed to process a payment or refund. Calera Ventures Limited is the Flutterwave collection merchant for Jilanta transactions. Relevant suppliers, warehouse staff and your chosen forwarder receive details needed to fulfill an order. We do not share an entire account merely because a supplier or forwarder handles one order.
We may disclose information to authorities, courts or professional advisers for a specific legal duty or claim. External recipients may have their own legal retention duties; this policy does not claim every recipient has erased every copy when you send us a request.
Optional sharing and device permissions
Before sending a chosen photo, Ask request or display text to an external AI or search service, Jilanta describes the data and asks for that send. You can decline and continue other app activities. Camera and photo-library permissions control device access separately. Withdrawing a choice blocks later sends; it cannot recall material already sent. Push notifications require device permission and can be disabled in your device settings.
International processing and protection
Jilanta coordinates China procurement and uses technology and payment services in more than one country. Information may be processed outside your country. We use workspace access controls, secure transport and financial audit records to protect it, while recognizing that no system is risk free. Report a suspected privacy or security issue to the contact above.
Retention and account deletion
We keep identifiable information for its service purpose and applicable accounting, dispute, security or legal duties. Our retention schedule gives the periods and exceptions used for review. Provider copies and backups can follow different schedules, which we assess when handling a request.
You can request deletion in the app's Account settings or at jilanta.com/account/delete. The request reference confirms receipt, not completed erasure. We review identity, open orders, shared workspaces and records we must retain, then tell you the outcome and confirm when deletion is complete. A request does not automatically cancel an order, issue a refund or remove another member's workspace. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete server records.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to see or correct your information, object to a use, withdraw consent or request deletion. Write to chris@jilanta.com. We may check your identity in a proportionate way. We explain a specific retention or other reason if we cannot grant a request in full. You may also contact Uganda's Personal Data Protection Office or Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner where applicable.
We will update this page when our practices materially change and show a new effective date.
